Exercise 1
A BLite outline of a Mondrian painting is a BLite artifact consisting of a black canvas on which properly colored and positioned unit bricks (i.e., 1×1 bricks) replace all colored (i.e., non-black) rectangles in the painting.
Shown below is a full-sized blue rectangle (on the left) and its corresponding unit brick (on the right). Note that the coordinates describing the location for both rectangles are the same (i.e., both have the coordinates (2,3) as their reference point), it is just their size that is different.
Shown below, a Mondrian painting (on the left) and its BLite outline (on the right). To create the BLite version of this Mondrian painting the dimensions of all non-black (i.e., colored) unit bricks should be increased appropriately.
